Here it finally is – my first ever blog post! It’s a pretty good reason to celebrate as it was in the making for almost a decade. But you know what they say: Never let go of something you can’t stop thinking about. And so here we are now, welcome to Florals for Spring!

We all have those aspirations – dreams, ideas and things we want to do, that have been in the back of our mind for some time. In my case, it took me even years to start turning the plans in my head into reality. But sometimes all you need is just one final nudge to take the courage and make the first step, right? For me, it was a low point in my career, that awakened the desire for a creative outlet in my free time. At the same time, I knew if I didn’t take the plunge now, I would probably never do it. And let me tell you even at this early stage: It feels so good that I did!

One thing that caused me to hesitate in the first place was the feeling of lacking the necessary skills and that it just wasn’t the right time yet. But you know what? The time will almost never be right, and conditions will never feel perfect to make the leap of what you really want to do. Start with a small step into the direction of your dreams with the skills and abilities you have right now. The most important thing is to just start. As a next step, you can improve on your way. As an always overly perfectionist in all aspects of life, it took me years to realize that I won’t be able to start a blog that was perfectly designed, with perfectly structured posts and perfectly shot photos. But that’s ok for me now and I’m looking forward to improving on the way. And what’s perfect anyway?

Maybe it will work out the way I imagined, maybe it won’t, but at least I tried then. I think something I’ve been thinking about for years is a good indicator that a quest is calling. Always remember: Time is now!

I’m so looking forward to sharing with you all the things that make life even more wonderful – may it be pretty beauty and fashion items, accessories, interiors or my experiences along our travels. I’m so happy you are here and accompany me on this journey!
With much love,
Teresa
